China has upstaged the supremacy of USA in Olympics 2008. China has achieved this in last 4 to 5 Olympics only. What does it imply? One needs a Focused, Dedicated & Committed Vision. It certainly does not need only fore gin coaches, best of infrastructures , financial support from the Industry and otter all such reasons given by all our politicians. We have one 3 medals ( 1 Gold & 2 Bronze ) and we are on the Seventh Skies. No Doubt even this achievement is not small by any measure if we see 61 years of our post independence history. But then what next. Can we not take frog leaps in next 3 /4 Olympics to go up the ladder, from today's 46 th position ? Let us look at Korea ( 11 Gold ) Jamica ( 6 Gold ) or Ethiopia ( 3 Gold ), Cuba & Kenya ( 2 Gold each ) as on today, and see how do we compare with these countries. Let us see the achievements of a Phelps ( 8 Gold medals in Swimming ), or a Bolt ( 3 Gold medals in athletics ) or a Zou Kai from China , who was shaken by the massive earth quake and lost contacts with the family for some time, and went on to win 3 Gold medals in gymnastics. We certainly need to celebrate the victory of Abhinav Bindra Or that of Our Boxer ( Vijendra ) or that of our wrestler ( Susheel Kumar ), but that is all about it, in a country of over 1 billion people. So Let us look inwards , rise above the politics in sports and do some thing. It is never too late Jai Hind or Shall I say " VANDE MATARAM "
