Hail the Judiciary

BCCI must be writhing in pain and shame ( ?? ) after the SC -  knock on its' knees. I only wish that Some one submits a petition against the political parties too.

In fact politics is the most corrupted profession. Some day SC should tell the executive ( Parliamentarians ) in no uncertain words that enough is enough. Clean up the system, remove the rotten eggs, debar them or else ...

SC should empower ( Politicians will never ) the EC  to reject the applications of all such politicians, who have cases of murder, rape, corruption etc against them. This argument that they are not guilty till proven has been exploited by one and all in every party.

Similarly the IT should be empowered to scrutinise every politician's assets, before accepting the same on face value. If needed CBI should assist them.

All this may be possible only when the bodies like EC, IT , CBI, Police  are completely autonomous and free from the clutches of people in power.

Any chance of that happening ??

CHANGE - A MUST

Half the voters' population is deprived of education, health and shelter even after 5 decades of congress rule !! when are we going to wake up? Why can't we think of alternatives ? We won't be any worse even if we try a change for once, a second time to be precise in favour of NDA. AAP is in a mess. This option is worth trying once again, but if it also goes the old ways, then we need to think of changing the political system.

Unfortunately the projections show that the two largest parties, the Congress & the BJP will get about 300 seats amongst themselves, leaving about 270 odd seats to be shared by 40 odd fringe parties, local / regional parties. It is certainly not a good sign for sure. Stability is at a big risk. Any government will find it difficult to sail smoothly for 5 years. Policy Paralysis, Lack of Purpose & Direction except the Efforts to retain power will be seen to be driving the country.

No Surprise then , if someone says " India is Living on Miracles ".

Now that the option of " None of the Above " is there for us, I would be very happy to see awakened people using it judiciously to throw out the bad / rotten eggs from the politics. It is certainly a huge cost to pay, but certainly better than living with corruption around us, and allowing country to go to dogs. It could certainly become a silent Jasmine Revolution of sorts, truly a democratic way of rejecting the system.

I am quite optimistic of seeing systemic changes in our political system if we are forced to go to the ballots once too often a couple of times.

So gear up friends and educate our known fellow beings on Voting and Voting Judiciously. Our first priority should be to weed out the rotten eggs from our constituency then think of others.

It is therefore high time that we think of  " CHANGE ".
